Living sustainability
Sustainability as a premise
At STARK Spannsysteme, sustainability is not just a goal, but a fundamental principle of our corporate philosophy. We understand the importance of low-energy production and actively implement measures to minimise our ecological footprint. By integrating energy-efficient technologies, such as our energy-saving lighting and shading concept, the modern ventilation system and the use of 100% green electricity and photovoltaics, we are doing our bit to protect the environment. This commitment goes hand in hand with our dedication to high-quality clamping systems and demonstrates our endeavour to act responsibly and promote a sustainable future.

Reduce CO2 emissions
At STARK Spannsysteme, we attach great importance to sustainability and environmentally conscious behaviour. Our comprehensive measures ensure that we minimise our ecological footprint and make a positive contribution to the environment.
Energy-efficient lighting and shading concept
Our entire company building is equipped with energy-saving LED lighting. This modern lighting technology not only significantly reduces energy consumption, but also ensures a pleasant and productive working atmosphere. In addition, our lighting concept is fully integrated into the building technology control system. This means that the lighting is controlled according to demand and switches off automatically when it is not needed. In this way, we not only contribute to sustainability, but also optimise the energy efficiency of our operational processes.
Environmentally friendly company fleet
With the job bike, we offer an attractive way to get to work in a healthy and environmentally friendly way. We have installed free charging stations for e-bikes for this purpose. With our decision to switch all company vehicles to e-cars with charging stations, we are emphasising our commitment to sustainability and an environmentally friendly future. In this way, we support the use of emission-free means of transport and contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Modern ventilation systems
Our state-of-the-art ventilation system not only ensures optimum air quality, but is also extremely energy-efficient. This allows us to reduce energy consumption and improve the working environment for our employees at the same time.
100% green electricity
At STARK Spannsysteme, we obtain 100% of our electricity from renewable energy sources.
200 kWp photovoltaic system
A photovoltaic system on our flat roof enables us to cover a significant part of our energy requirements with solar energy. The use of solar energy not only reduces our dependence on external electricity suppliers, but also makes a significant contribution to reducing our CO2 emissions. By installing the photovoltaic system, we are taking a further step towards sustainable and environmentally friendly production.
Focus on online meetings
The increased use of online meetings is another component of our strategy to conserve resources and reduce our ecological footprint. Unnecessary kilometres travelled are avoided and employee satisfaction also benefits.
Natural greening on the company premises
The near-natural greening of outdoor spaces and façades on our company premises is in line with our commitment to a green future and offers numerous benefits for the environment and our employees.
Diversity and ecology at Römergrund
The near-natural greenery at our Römergrund site creates valuable habitats for a variety of plants and animals. Native plant species promote biodiversity and provide food and shelter for insects, birds and other animals. This ecological balance contributes to the stability of the local ecosystem and supports the preservation of biodiversity in the region.
Climate protection and air quality
Plants are natural climate protectors. They absorb CO2, release oxygen and contribute to improving air quality. By greening our company premises in Römergrund, we reduce the CO2 content in the air and create a pleasant, clean environment for our employees and visitors.
Compliance with strict standards as a corporate philosophy
At STARK Spannsysteme, compliance with the strictest criteria such as RoHS, REACH and conflict materials is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. These standards not only ensure compliance with legal requirements, but also demonstrate our commitment to environmental protection and ethical procurement.
RoHS and REACH conformity
We rely on products that comply with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) directives. This ensures that our products are free from hazardous substances and protect the environment and the health of our customers and employees.
Conflict materials
STARK Spannsysteme is committed to not using conflict materials in its products. We continuously monitor our supply chain to ensure that no minerals from conflict regions are contained in our materials.
Responsible procurement
Our commitment to the highest standards goes beyond mere compliance with legal requirements. We are committed to responsible procurement that takes ethical, social and ecological criteria into account in equal measure. This is reflected in the quality of our products and our responsibility towards society.
Consistent lean management
At STARK Spannsysteme, we consistently rely on lean management to optimise our processes and at the same time make a contribution to sustainability. What does this mean for our customers and partners?
Efficient processes:We use targeted value stream analyses to identify waste and optimise our processes. This means shorter throughput times, less stock and better customisation to customer requirements - all for faster and more efficient order processing.
Quality improvement:
We use the 5S method to create clean, organised work areas. This not only increases safety in the workplace, but also the product quality and reliability of our products. By applying the 5S method at STARK Spannsysteme, not only can efficiency be increased and the working environment improved, but targeted measures can also be taken to minimise leaks and thus contribute to sustainability and the reduction of wasted resources.
Sustainability:
A central aspect of our lean approach is the reduction of environmental pollution. Through just-in-time production, we minimise overproduction and thus reduce our consumption of resources. Optimising our supply chains also helps to shorten transport routes and reduce emissions.
