Review: STARK Spannsysteme at EMO 2025 – Six World Premieres in Focus
Date & Location: 22–26 September 2025 · Hanover Trade Fair · Hall 4, Stand F33
Together with the ROEMHELD Group
Thank you for visiting us at EMO 2025!
EMO 2025 was a great success for STARK Spannsysteme, attracting strong interest in our six new innovations in workholding technology.
From distortion-free clamping of large workpieces to intelligent automation and electric clamping systems – our product premieres demonstrated how precision, flexibility and efficiency go hand in hand in modern manufacturing.

The Six Innovations at a Glance
STARK.spheric – Distortion-free machining of large volumes
A trade fair premiere for the aerospace and large-part sectors. Combines zero-point clamping, pendulum alignment, and longitudinal compensation. Corrects angular deviations up to 5° and length differences up to 1.5 mm. The zero-point position remains stable even when unclamping between machining steps.
Retractable nipple for thin-walled components – full accessibility, minimal depth
Only 3 mm housing depth—ideal for delicate workpieces. No obstructive clamping rim—perfect for 5-axis machining. In combination with STARK.balance: secure clamping even with imprecise bores.

Pendel jaws for HILMA.NC – Process-reliable clamping of castings & flame-cut parts
Solutions for difficult clamping scenarios involving castings and flame-cut components with imperfect or skewed edges—now using innovative pendulum jaws for the 3-axis HILMA.NC machine vise. It provides clamping forces up to 50 kN and—with the new movable jaws—process-reliable clamping even with imprecise part edges.

Low-draw-clamp HILMA.UC 125 – Extended clamping range for heavy parts
For large and heavy workpieces (e.g., in tool and die making), STARK has extended the modular 5-axis vise HILMA.UC 125. A new base extension with optional centre jaw allows clamping widths of up to one meter for heavy loads. The new configuration unites the vise into a closed system, facilitating setup and enabling direct use in a zero-point clamping system. The highly efficient low-draw mechanism developed by STARK prevents part lift-off and ensures that the closed force path protects against deformation. Clamping force is applied via a pull-spindle of up to 52 kilonewtons.
HILMA.ASH 125 – Automation vise with sensor technology
Monitoring of clamping force, position, and status via IO-Link. Includes seat check and pneumatic cleaning. Clamping stroke of 110 mm for a wide range of workpieces.
HILMA.EC 100 – Hydraulics-free, 24 V or battery-powered
Electric centric clamp—low-maintenance, flexible application.
Software-controlled clamping force from 5 to 20 kN. For machines with electric media supply.
